  I come here all the time this is the most high quality fast food east of the Rocky Mountains. The owners clean and scrub the vats everyday and take pride in cleanliness and quality. When you see cars there early morning you know they're inside cleaning and doing quality preparations for their daily opening at 10am. I know this because I worked here once. The managers will bend over backwards to give you what you want.(Don't abuse it) Go in sometime and take whatever the cooks recommend.(Trust me they know some great recipes they can't market because corporate). They also have the cleanest and freshest fried chicken in Grand Rapids. They get chickens from their quality farms in Wisconsin and prep the chicken by putting 16 or 24 pieces in a clean transparent plastic bucket, adding a good portion of lower and shaking before gently lying it in one of the special large vats for chicken. Try the chicken and you will never eat at KFC again.

  I do not eat fast food unless it is at culvers. I also love their fries. They have great deals with burger and fries and a pop (snack pack). They also have really good fish sandwiches. Pretty much all their food is good! And there's always time for dessert! They have plenty of flavors and combinations of ice cream!

  I have always been a fan of this particular Culver's however, my last three visits rendered my burgers raw! If a burger that thin is pink, it surely never got up to high enough temp to kill bacteria crawling all over. I called back and had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking with Katie. I called and she informed me that she didn't know what to say then said "I'm sorry that it was undercooked in your opinion". In my opinion?! It's pink! I asked if I could speak to the restaurant manager and she said she was the manager. After about the fifth time she said Bart is the owner/manager. I asked if she had her sefvsafe cert and she said she would not divulge that information with customers. She also said "I just don't want to be questioned by customers". Wow! If this is what your customers can come to expect, dangerous food and bad attitudes, count me out! As far as this Katie goes, she should never be allowed to deal with upset customers. On a side note, a group of young employees were arguing with who seemed to be another employee but in non_work clothing. I had to wait until they finished to place my order. Will be returning for a refund only.
