  Went to the comedy club, had a great time. Tried to use the restrooms designated for customers on that floor after the show while waiting for our waiter to bring our card back and the short bouncer at the door let a few people in as we "tried" to walk to the restrooms and he said I'm sorry you can't... I explained that we were waiting for our credit cards and the two other girls I was with needed to use the restroom since we had been waiting for the end of the show. He was an ass, and wouldn't let us go. So I flipped him off and went back to my group. We walked down to the lower level after getting our credit cards back and apon leaving the rest room he was standing right outside and announced that I must be escorted outside. I obliged and said we are all leaving, as we entered the elevator he didn't allow our whole group to leave. I told him I was here with a group that was right outside the elevator and he forcefully pulled me on the elevator and told me I'm escorting you out. I was extremely disappointed with the way they treated me and the way the decided to handle this situation. I feel it is not okay for a man to forcefully pull a women on an elevator and not let her friends go as well. This man should be fired.

  I have been visiting the Big Ol' Building for several years and have only experienced the slow service as described by others during busy times. Which, during busy times in downtown Grand Rapids you can't expect speedy service anywhere. There is always great food at every restaurant on every level and great drink options. The thing I love most is the variety of venues under one roof. I've been a Mug Club member since 2010 and though I can never seem to remember my mug number they always find my glass when I visit. Great benefits in this club, by the way.
