  I've been to this place numerous times, and aside from the excellent food and amazing atmosphere, the wait staff busts their asses and does a phenomenal job!

  Was a nice little place with lots of history. Menu was cool, full of great hot dogs. I ordered the chicken tenders and was NOT a fan. They were incredibly tough and chewy, felt like I was eating leather and that the oil was dirty. Definitely would give it another chance since the people who I was with loved their food, so maybe I caught them on a bad day. Service was solid, staff was eating at the bar on a lunch lull, which I'm not a fan of but not he biggest of deals.

  The establishment has an air of deliciousness with a touch of rebellion. A great place to enjoy a meal or an evening out. Such a delightful and non pretentious atmosphere.

  One of my favorite bars in Grand Rapids! Great bartenders and amazing atmosphere. Dive bar feel but very clean and great food. wide selection of beers as well. Always a good choice!

  Blue Dog isn't what you would think of when you hear "west side bar". It's clean, friendly, and the food is not just your average bar food.
  The beer is served fast and at a great temp.
  My drinks are always prepared promptly and efficiently. Every experience I've had there has made me want to come back. Mike and Erik are both very nice and professional along with the other staff I didn't get to formally meet. This is a go to spot if you are ever in the area. 10/10 recommended!
